From your ceremony to the last song of the night, Alex Anthony Band handles the music, the sound and the hosting. One team, start to finish.

Most couples end up booking a ceremony musician, a DJ, an MC and a band separately. We bring all of it together. You get the same professional sound, the same team and one point of contact for the whole day, so the music flows from your walk down the aisle right through to the dance floor.

Ceremony

Your ceremony music, played live or from tracks, depending on what suits the moment. We can arrange almost any song, from a traditional processional to your favorite track reworked for strings or sax.

Solo
Acoustic guitar, saxophone or violin. Simple, elegant and perfect for intimate ceremonies.

Duo
Pair two instruments from saxophone, a second guitar, violin or upright bass. The bass can be played with a bow for a warm, cello-like sound.

Sound that carries
Every ceremony includes a full professional sound system with speakers from QSC, TurboSound and Yamaha, plus a Shure lapel mic for your officiant. Every guest hears every word of your vows.

Cocktail Hour

While you're off having photos taken, your guests are relaxing with a drink and great music. Choose solo acoustic, solo piano or a jazz combo, played in any style you'd like.

4 Piece Band

Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, saxophone, hand percussion and three vocalists. Big harmonies with a lighter footprint, ideal for smaller rooms or venues with sound limits.

5 Piece Band

Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, saxophone, bass, full drum kit and three vocalists. The full dance floor experience.

Add-ons
Add violin, female vocals or both to either lineup.

Your first dance, played live

Song requests will be performed live when they suit our vocalist’s vocal range and style, as well as our band’s lineup and instrumentation. Otherwise, we’ll play the original recording through our DJ service.

Choose your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception options. Mix and match to suit your day.

We'll go through your song choices, timings and announcements with you ahead of the day.

4. Enjoy it

We arrive early, set up, sound check and take care of everything. You just enjoy your wedding.

FAQs

  • Yes. You can book us for one part of the day or all of it. Most couples find it easier to have one team handle the music and sound from start to finish.

  • Yes. We bring a full professional sound system for both the ceremony and reception, using speakers from QSC, TurboSound and Yamaha. Your officiant gets a Shure lapel mic, and there's a microphone ready for speeches.

  • Yes. Some couples want a live processional and a recorded track for the recessional, or the other way round. We'll set it up however you like.

  • In most cases, yes. We can arrange songs for any of our lineups. Just let us know your requests at least 2 months before the wedding so we have time to prepare.

  • Yes, if it works for the lineup you've booked. Send us your song and we'll confirm.

  • The 4 piece uses hand percussion instead of a full drum kit and doesn't include a bass player, so it's a little lighter in sound and space. However the guitarist plays a baritone guitar supplementing that bass feel. The 5 piece adds bass and a full drum kit for a bigger dance floor sound. Both feature three vocalists.

  • Yes. We handle introductions with your coordinator, announcements and keeping the evening on schedule, working from the timeline you give us.

  • We play DJ'd music through dinner and introductions, and between sets, so there's never an awkward silence.

  • Yes. Violin and female vocals can be added to either band lineup.

  • 12 ft by 10 ft for the 4 piece, 16 ft by 10 ft for the 5 piece, and at least 1 standard outlet near the performance area. We're happy to check details with your venue directly.

  • We do! From coast to coast, we’ve played weddings from Key West to Napa Valley. Please ask about our travel packages.

  • Popular dates book up 1 to 2 years ahead. Get in touch as soon as you have your date and venue.
